I'm a beginner—where should I start?
We’re grateful that you’ve chosen our app to start your fitness journey! Remember, everyone was once a beginner, so be kind to yourself. Fitness isn’t a sprint—it’s a marathon, so pace yourself according to your strengths.
The personal plan you see in the app was created based on your answers during onboarding, so it should be fully suitable for your current fitness level and goals. However, you always have the option to modify the plan as you see fit by swapping in alternative exercises, skipping them, or adjusting based on how you feel.
Important things to consider before you start:
- Find Your Workout Rhythm: We generally recommend three fitness sessions per week for beginners, with a rest day following each workout. On rest days, you can take a walk or do any light activity that feels comfortable without causing fatigue.
- Recovery Matters: Get enough sleep and maintain a balanced diet to help muscles recover. Proper recovery minimizes soreness and helps joints and body systems adapt safely.
- Hydration: Drink water before, during, and after your workouts to stay hydrated and support muscle recovery.
- Start Simple: Begin with home workouts that don’t require equipment, which last 20-30 minutes. It’s better to do a little bit consistently than push too hard and risk injury.
- Watch Our Demonstrations: The app provides guidance and video demonstrations to ensure proper form—make sure to follow these to avoid mistakes.
- Try a Challenge: Most of our Challenges are beginner-friendly. If you feel motivated after a main workout, adding a short challenge that targets specific areas can be a fun bonus.
- Safety: Move at your own pace, remember to breathe throughout your exercises, and always listen to your body.
💡 Tip: Never skip the warm-up and cool-down routines—they make your workouts safer and more effective.
If you experience prolonged muscle soreness after your first workout, we recommend sticking to one type of exercise per day. Let your body adapt to your new routine before trying multiple types. You can always add equipment or increase intensity later, once your muscles adapt to the beginner-level exercises.
Always listen to your body and train in a way that feels comfortable. And remember—we’re always here for you! If you need motivation or support, contact our team anytime.
